For a little more than three years now, Mikey's Town has offered information on Pokemon, Crash Bandicoot, Dragonball Z, and more! We greatly appreciate all who have taken the time to visit our website, but we feel it's simply not enough. During this summer of 2004, we have decided to give all our staff a vacation! Unfortunately, this means our content will not be updated as often as usual. Do not fear, though! While our staff is taking a vaction, our new website design team is taking the chance to completely re-design Mikey's Town! While our design is quite sturdy, we feel it is time to upgrade to a more professional look. We'll have an easier navigation, more features, more information, and so much more!

There's So Much Exciting Information That We'd Never Be Able To Explain It On This One Page, So We'll Try To Sum It Up With All The Good Stuff! The Main Story Line Behind The RPG Mode Is Actually Quite Different Than The Normal PokeFan Would Think... But Then Again, We're Not Just Any PokeFans Here! There Are New Pokemon Called "Dark" Pokemon. Now We Know What You're Thinking, "There's Already Dark Pokemon!", But The "Dark" Pokemon We're Talking About Have Had Their Hearts Sealed Off Thanks To Some Evil Men. If You've Ever Played "Kingdom Hearts", This Is Almost The Same Story Line. You Won't Be Able To Tell If A Pokemon Has Had Its Heart Sealed Off. On January 29, The Newest, Oldest Versions Of Pokemon Hit Japan! What Are We Talking About? "Pokemon: Leaf Green" And "Pokemon: Fire Red" Of Course! As We Have Mentioned Before, These Latest Games Are Simply A GameBoy Advance Version Of "Pokemon: Green" And "Pokemon: Red". Although The Games Are Currently Only In Japanese, We Can Tell You These Newest Versions Are Almost A Complete Mirror To Its Original Version. There Are Some Touch-Ups Here And There, Such As A More Descriptive Beginning From Prof. Oak, But The Story Line Is Absolutely The Same. The Cartridges, Like The Original Versions, Are The Same Color As Its Title. The Start-Up Introduction Is The Same And Each Game Still Has Its Own Set Of Rare And Common Pokemon. Unfortunately, These New Version Don't Have The Newest Effects From "Pokemon: Ruby" Or "Pokemon: Sapphire" Like Footprints Or Reflections. Luckily, The Audio Has Definitely Increased. Yesterday, Japan's Nintendo Website Revealed That New Glitches Are Surfacing In The Japanese Versions Of 'Pokemon: Ruby' And 'Pokemon: Sapphire'. Nintendo Reports That These Glitches Appear In Games That Have Operated For More Than A Year. It Is Attributed To The Internal Clock That's Built Into The Cartridge That Keeps Track Of Specific Time Related Data. The Glitch Affects The Growth Of Berries And Lottery Tickets That Can Purchased At Specific Stores. The Glitch Will Not Affect The Overall Save Data Of The Cartridge And Cannot Be Removed By Starting A New Game. Thankfully, Nintendo Will Gladly Fix The Glitch In All Games For Free At Authorized Service Centers.
